Last updated: September 23, 2026 This Privacy Policy explains how EVRatio (“EVRatio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit evratio.com (the “Site”). EVRatio provides free electric vehicle cost calculators and related guides. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

The Site is owned and operated by Shoaib, the founder of EVRatio. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can reach us through our Contact page or by email at [email protected].

2. A note on our calculators

Our calculators (charging cost, EV vs gas, total cost of ownership, range, charge time, and others) run in your browser. The figures you enter, such as your vehicle, state, electricity rate, and mileage, are used only to produce your results. They are not tied to any account, because the Site does not ask you to sign up or log in. When you use the “copy link” or share feature on a calculator, the values you selected are added to the link so the result can be opened again. Anyone you send that link to can see those values. We do not use calculator inputs to identify you.

3. Information we collect

If you contact us by email or through social media, we collect what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to reply to you.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and the third-party services we use collect some technical information when you visit. This includes:

As part of a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of the Site

9. Data retention

We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to reply to you and for reasonable record keeping. Analytics and advertising data are kept according to the settings and policies of the providers in Section 7. We delete or anonymize information once we no longer need it.

The Site is meant for a general adult audience and is not aimed at children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age where you live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable measures to protect information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Even so, no method of sending data over the internet is fully secure, and we cannot promise complete security.

13. Links to other sites

The Site links to outside sources, such as the EIA, AAA, and fueleconomy.gov. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Please review their policies on your own.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. If you keep using the Site after a change takes effect, you accept the updated policy.
