Mercedes EV Range Calculator: Find Your Real World Range

Identify whether your Mercedes-Benz EPA record is a sedan or SUV before planning the charge window. Model year, drivetrain and body are shown together, so a similarly named EQ vehicle cannot silently supply the wrong baseline.

Sources checked: . Ratings describe named test configurations. Results below are planning scenarios, not measured road tests.

Plan your available charge

Published values are locked to the cited record. Choose your measured range to enter a full-charge equivalent from comparable trips in your own vehicle.

100% leaves the baseline unchanged. Any other value is your assumption for the combined trip conditions. This tool does not infer weather, speed, heating or battery condition.

Include diversions. If there is no planned recharge, include the return distance too. The result cannot confirm a working charger or a passable route.

Distance within your charge window

308.0 miles

Add a leg distance to estimate arrival charge and distance margin.

Published baseline × your assumptions. This is a planning scenario, not a new official range rating.

The default 100% departure and 0% reserve displays the full mathematical baseline. It is not a charging recommendation. Choose your intended departure charge and a practical reserve before planning a journey.

Verified baseline references

These are selected 2026 EPA records. Parentheses such as SUV are retained from the EPA names because body style matters. Older EQE 350, EQS SUV 450/580, EQB and G-Class configurations are not assigned a newer similarly named vehicle’s rating.

Mercedes-Benz: EQE and EQS need a body-style check

The EPA’s 2026 EQE 320 Plus sedan record is 308 miles, while EQE 320 Plus (SUV) is 302. The 4MATIC sedan and SUV entries also differ. Select the full recorded name, including SUV where shown. A model number and an EQ badge do not identify a unique range rating.

The same distinction applies to EQS: a sedan entry should not be used for an EQS SUV or Maybach SUV. Keep AMG configurations separate as well. If your car has an older designation absent from this selected list, use a measured baseline from that vehicle instead of choosing the nearest current name.

Compare this estimate with Electric Intelligence

Mercedes-Benz describes Navigation with Electric Intelligence as a route planner that accounts for factors including topography, temperature, traffic and charging stops. Where available in your vehicle, use its arrival-charge forecast and charging recommendations as the route evolves.

This website has none of that live vehicle or route information. Its useful role is to make a charge-window assumption visible: how much distance remains if departure charge is lower, or if you retain a larger reserve? It cannot recommend a charging stop’s current availability or replace the vehicle’s active range monitoring.

Do not count the same condition twice

For a winter owner baseline, record representative journeys with normal cabin settings. If that measurement already includes heating and route effects, use factor 100% for a similar journey. A second generic cold-weather penalty would repeat effects already present in the measurement. Pre-entry climate control and thermal equipment vary by model; this planner assigns no universal heating-system multiplier.

When planning a return journey, include both directions unless a recharge is part of the plan. A one-way leg estimate says nothing about the energy required to return.

Show why sedan and SUV identification matters

With 80% departure and 10% reserve, the 2026 EQE 320 Plus sedan’s 308-mile rating yields 215.6 miles; the 302-mile SUV entry yields 211.4 miles. At factor 100%, a 200-mile leg would leave about 15.1% and 13.8% charge respectively. These are calculations from named EPA baselines, not measured Mercedes road tests.

Calculation method and owner calibration

Usable distance = baseline × conditions factor ÷ 100 × (starting charge − reserve) ÷ 100

Arrival charge = starting charge − leg distance ÷ (baseline × conditions factor ÷ 100) × 100

The method assumes distance scales approximately with the charge used. It does not model changing speed, wind, elevation, traffic, parked energy use, battery temperature or auxiliary loads. The conditions factor is an explicit assumption; no automatic age, temperature or equipment coefficient is applied.

To estimate an owner baseline, divide the distance of a representative journey by the fraction of charge used, with no recharge between readings. For example, 75 miles using 30 percentage points gives approximately 250 miles as a full-charge equivalent. Repeat with several comparable journeys. Use factor 100% when your measured baseline already describes the planned conditions, so the same effects are not counted twice.

A positive margin only means the arithmetic reaches your chosen reserve under these assumptions. A negative margin means the chosen distance exceeds that charge budget. Confirm route and charging conditions with the vehicle’s guidance; this tool does not diagnose the battery.

Questions Mercedes owners ask

Can an EQE sedan rating be used for the EQE SUV?

Use the body-specific entry. EPA lists separate sedan and SUV records, and their range ratings differ even when the model number looks similar.

Does this calculator reproduce Navigation with Electric Intelligence?

No. It uses a chosen baseline and explicit inputs. Mercedes-Benz's vehicle system can account for route and vehicle information that this website does not receive.
