Lucid EV Range Calculator

Separate a Lucid model’s headline maximum from the rating for its wheels and seating layout. Use the certified 2027 Air and Gravity references below, or enter recent measured range for your own vehicle.

Sources checked: . Published figures are comparison references; the adjusted result is your planning scenario.

Plan a charge window

Select your measured range to enter a vehicle-specific baseline. Published presets are locked to their cited values.

100% makes no adjustment. Enter a factor supported by your experience for weather, speed, load and route combined. This is your assumption; the tool does not predict those effects.

Estimated distance within your charge window

512.0 miles

824.0 km · no adjustment applied

Published baseline × your assumptions. This result is a planning scenario, not a new official range rating.

For the 512-mile first preset, leaving at 80% and reserving 10% makes 70% of the charge available: 358.4 miles before your conditions adjustment.

A 0% reserve is the mathematical full-range default. Set a practical arrival reserve before planning a trip, and follow the vehicle’s route and charging guidance.

These exact 2027 EPA records were checked on 8 October 2026. Lucid’s Air webpage still uses projected-range wording, but the EPA registry now contains the listed Air configurations. The Gravity GT-S projection is excluded because no matching record was found. This table is a rating reference, not a stock list.

Air wheels and Gravity seats both matter

The EPA database gives the 2027 Air Grand Touring 512 miles with 19-inch wheels, 480 with 20-inch wheels and 446 with 21-inch wheels. The 2027 Gravity Grand Touring record is 450 miles with 20-inch front/21-inch rear wheels and two rows, compared with 437 miles for the three-row configuration. Select the matching entry before comparing charge windows.

Check the EPA record when the manufacturer wording lags

Lucid’s current Air page presents MY 2027 range as projected pending official EPA estimates. The Gravity page distinguishes EPA estimates for Touring and Grand Touring from projected GT-S range. The EPA registry now contains the exact 2027 Air and Gravity Touring/Grand Touring records listed here, so those published entries are used. The GT-S projection remains excluded.

A long range does not remove the need for a reserve

A high maximum can hide a large difference between full-charge comparison range and the portion you use on a normal road trip. Leaving at 80% and keeping 10% for arrival uses 70% of the baseline before any conditions adjustment. The result is therefore neither the headline rating nor the remaining distance displayed after every future stop.

For a frequent motorway journey, use recent trips at comparable speeds. Calculate a full-charge equivalent from distance and percentage points used, and keep the factor at 100% if that measurement already represents the route. Do not reduce the measured result again just because the car has accumulated mileage.

Match the charging stop to the vehicle

Check the connector, adapter requirements and charger compatibility for the exact Air or Gravity you drive. A site’s advertised peak power is not the power your vehicle will sustain through a session. This tool does not turn a range figure into a charging curve or assume that two Lucid models charge in the same way.

On an unfamiliar route, compare the vehicle’s navigation arrival estimate with your reserve. Allow for detours or an unavailable charging stall rather than planning to consume the entire mathematical distance.

Calculation method and owner calibration

Distance = full-charge range × conditions factor ÷ 100 × (starting charge − arrival reserve) ÷ 100

The formula assumes distance scales approximately with usable state of charge. It models neither a charging curve nor changing wind, elevation, cabin energy or road conditions. The conditions factor is an explicit user assumption; it is not a validated model-specific weather forecast.

To create an owner baseline, divide a representative trip’s distance by the fraction of charge used. For example, 90 miles using 40 percentage points gives an approximate 225-mile full-charge equivalent. Repeat on comparable journeys. Small charge changes and rounded dashboard readings can make a single short trip misleading.

A 225-mile owner baseline, 80% conditions factor and 80% to 10% charge window gives 126.0 miles: 225 × 0.80 × 0.70. Keep the factor at 100% if the baseline already represents the journey, battery condition and load. This page applies no automatic battery-age penalty, heat-pump bonus or universal temperature multiplier.

Published presets are locked to their source values. Choose the owner option to enter your own full-charge range. The 0% reserve default only shows the complete mathematical baseline; set a practical reserve before planning a trip.

Questions Lucid owners ask

Does every Air Grand Touring have 512 miles of EPA range?

No. The 2027 EPA records used here give 512 miles for 19-inch wheels, 480 for 20-inch wheels and 446 for 21-inch wheels.

Why does the current Air page still say projected?

That manufacturer wording has not caught up with the EPA registry checked on 8 October 2026. The selector links to exact 2027 EPA records. A future configuration without a matching record stays excluded.

Does Gravity seating configuration change the reference?

Yes. The 2027 Grand Touring 20-inch front/21-inch rear EPA records are 450 miles for two rows and 437 miles for three rows. Select the matching layout.
