Audi EV Range Calculator: Find Your Real World Range
Keep Q4, Q6, A6 Sportback and e-tron GT configurations separate while planning a usable charge window. The presets link to exact EPA records, including model year and wheel, tire or Ultra designation where the record specifies one.

Plan your available charge
Published values are locked to the cited record. Choose your measured range to enter a full-charge equivalent from comparable trips in your own vehicle.
100% leaves the baseline unchanged. Any other value is your assumption for the combined trip conditions. This tool does not infer weather, speed, heating or battery condition.
Include diversions. If there is no planned recharge, include the return distance too. The result cannot confirm a working charger or a passable route.
Distance within your charge window
Add a leg distance to estimate arrival charge and distance margin.
Published baseline × your assumptions. This is a planning scenario, not a new official range rating.
The default 100% departure and 0% reserve displays the full mathematical baseline. It is not a charging recommendation. Choose your intended departure charge and a practical reserve before planning a journey.

This selected table combines 2026 Q4/GT and 2027 Q6/A6 EPA records with their years visible. It does not give an older Q8 e-tron a Q6 rating or claim every e-tron platform has identical thermal hardware or charging features.

Source difference checked 8 October 2026: Audi’s model-family page reports 392 miles for A6 Sportback RWD with Ultra and 319 for Q6 Sportback. The EPA records cited here give 395 for A6 e-tron Ultra and 325 for Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro. This tool uses the exact named EPA record consistently; verify the vehicle’s own range label before ordering or planning.
Audi: e-tron is a family name, not a single specification
Before choosing a baseline, identify the model, year, body and exact configuration on the vehicle label. Q4, Q6, A6 Sportback and e-tron GT have separate EPA records. The table retains wheel/tire and Ultra wording where the EPA specifies it, rather than applying one battery size or range adjustment across the whole family.
The 2027 A6 e-tron Ultra entry is distinct from the regular A6 e-tron and quattro versions. A headline up-to number should not be assigned to every A6. A Q6 SUV and Sportback likewise need their own named entries. If the exact vehicle is absent, choose the measured owner baseline rather than guessing from the nearest badge.
Use Audi’s route forecast as the journey changes
Audi’s range guidance describes a range forecast based on battery level and expected consumption, and route planning through the vehicle or myAudi where equipped. It also identifies temperature, accessories and driving as range influences and recommends conditioning while connected to a charger.
Feature availability varies by model and equipment. This planner does not assume every e-tron has the same preconditioning behavior, heat pump or suspension. It applies no universal benefit for those features. Check your own manual and use a measured baseline if your current equipment or driving differs from the EPA configuration.
Collect an owner baseline for a regular route
Keep distance and starting/ending charge from several comparable journeys, with no charging between those readings. A regular motorway trip with a roof box deserves a separate record from a local commute without it. If the baseline already reflects your roof box and speed, leave factor at 100% when repeating that trip.
A positive distance margin here only means the arithmetic fits your chosen reserve. It cannot verify a charger, weather forecast, road closure or predicted arrival charge in the car.
Understand an Audi configuration change without a made-up multiplier
The 2026 S e-tron GT EPA records are 300 miles with 20-inch wheels and 294 with 21-inch wheels. With an 80% departure and 10% reserve, those baselines give 210.0 and 205.8 miles. The 4.2-mile difference uses those two particular rated configurations; it is not a universal wheel-size adjustment for Q4, Q6 or A6.
Calculation method and owner calibration
Usable distance = baseline × conditions factor ÷ 100 × (starting charge − reserve) ÷ 100
Arrival charge = starting charge − leg distance ÷ (baseline × conditions factor ÷ 100) × 100
The method assumes distance scales approximately with the charge used. It does not model changing speed, wind, elevation, traffic, parked energy use, battery temperature or auxiliary loads. The conditions factor is an explicit assumption; no automatic age, temperature or equipment coefficient is applied.
To estimate an owner baseline, divide the distance of a representative journey by the fraction of charge used, with no recharge between readings. For example, 75 miles using 30 percentage points gives approximately 250 miles as a full-charge equivalent. Repeat with several comparable journeys. Use factor 100% when your measured baseline already describes the planned conditions, so the same effects are not counted twice.
A positive margin only means the arithmetic reaches your chosen reserve under these assumptions. A negative margin means the chosen distance exceeds that charge budget. Confirm route and charging conditions with the vehicle’s guidance; this tool does not diagnose the battery.
Questions Audi owners ask
Can the longest A6 e-tron rating represent every A6 version?
No. Use the matching EPA record, including Ultra or quattro where specified. A maximum figure for one configuration should not be applied to the other configurations.
Does every Audi e-tron get the same heating or preconditioning bonus?
No bonus is applied. Equipment and functions depend on model and configuration; use the vehicle's instructions and comparable driving evidence for your own plan.
