Range Rover EV Range Calculator
Plan how far a charge window could take a Range Rover Electric. Start with the published US baseline, then choose your departure charge, arrival reserve and a conditions factor supported by your own driving.
Sources checked: . The published preset is a US EPA estimate reported by Range Rover; other markets use different test cycles.
Plan a charge window
Select your measured range to enter a vehicle-specific baseline. Published presets are locked to their cited values.
100% makes no adjustment. Enter a factor supported by your experience for weather, speed, load and route combined. This is your assumption; the tool does not predict those effects.
Estimated distance within your charge window
535.9 km · no adjustment applied
Published baseline × your assumptions. This result is a planning scenario, not a new official range rating.
For a 333-mile baseline, leaving at 80% and reserving 10% makes 70% of the charge available: 233.1 miles before your conditions adjustment.
A 0% reserve is the mathematical full-range default. Set a practical arrival reserve before planning a trip, and follow the vehicle’s route and charging guidance.

The manufacturer gives an up-to figure rather than a separate rating for every US trim, wheel and body configuration. Confirm the rating for the vehicle you order. We do not convert WLTP into an invented EPA value.
What matters for this SUV
Range Rover’s US page now identifies the Electric as a 2027 model with an EPA-estimated range of up to 333 miles and states that US orders are open. Its model page is the source for this preset; confirm configuration and delivery timing with a retailer.
The official launch release identifies 118.5 kWh as usable battery capacity and reports up to 372 miles under WLTP. Those figures describe different quantities. Battery capacity is stored energy, and WLTP is a different range test; neither replaces the US 333-mile preset.
The manufacturer’s ThermAssist claim concerns reduced heating energy use. It is not a fixed percentage increase in the distance available on every trip, so this tool applies no automatic heating bonus.
Towing and off-road planning
A trailer, roof load, mud, gradients and slow technical driving can make a road-range baseline a poor guide. Build an owner baseline from trips with a comparable trailer and load. Keep an exit route and a reachable charging stop in your plan, and use the vehicle’s navigation prediction as the route changes. A road-based multiplier cannot reproduce an off-road route.
Calculation method
Distance = full-charge range × conditions factor ÷ 100 × (starting charge − arrival reserve) ÷ 100
The charge-window calculation assumes distance scales approximately with usable state of charge. It does not model the battery’s charging curve, elevation, wind, auxiliary loads, or changing route conditions. No age-based degradation rate, heat-pump bonus, or temperature penalty is added automatically.
To calibrate an owner baseline, divide the distance of a representative trip by the fraction of charge used. For example, 90 miles using 40 percentage points of charge gives an approximate 225-mile full-charge equivalent. Use several comparable trips rather than one short journey. Keep the conditions factor at 100% when those trips already match the journey you are planning.
Questions Range Rover owners ask
What is the published Range Rover Electric range?
The Range Rover US page identifies the 2027 model with an EPA-estimated range of up to 333 miles. Actual range depends on configuration and conditions; the preset is a published comparison baseline.
Does ThermAssist automatically add range in this calculator?
No. A reduction in heating energy is not a universal range increase. Apply an overall conditions factor based on your own experience; the calculator adds no separate heating bonus.
Can I use the preset for a plug-in hybrid Range Rover?
No. This preset describes the battery-electric Range Rover Electric. A plug-in hybrid has separate electric and petrol operation; use its exact electric-range figure with the PHEV cost calculator.
